Kapelion: "a taste of antiquity"
Kapelion's olive oils are harvested from Akhisar (ancient Thyatira), Turkey. Our land has a rich history of olive oil production. It was situatied on the road that connected the ancient cities of Pergamon and Ephesus, and it was also one of the first places in the world where trading with currencies became common. With its back to the Aspordenon mountains, and home to fertile plains that nurture a wide variety of crops, Akhisar attached many people through out the years.

We belive in sustainable agriculture!
Kapelion is uniting age-old tradition with modern production techniques. For olives only natural fertilizers are used. Our oliveyards is modernized and drip line irrigation is using. Olives are collected by machinery and hand while giving no harm to the trees. All the olives are cold-pressed at most six hours after the harvest. After resting in high-quality stainless-steel tanks, the oil is bottled with its first-day freshness.
Kapelion also supports women workforce. Our workers for collecting the olives for harvest are mostly women.
